Under the authority of the word of God, it seeks to fulfill its commitment to ministry and the body of Christ through diploma/graduate education, professional development and specialized seminars.
In all of its activities including training, nurture, service and publication,Divine Power College strives for distinction and excellence in the service of the Lord Jesus Christ, under the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit, to the glory of the father.
BRIEF HISTORY
The school is the Educational arm of End-time Power Ministries, founded in Nigeria, by Bishop(Dr.) Sola Adetunji. DPBC started in 1995 awarding only Diploma in Ministerial Studies.
Divine Power Bible College, is not a mainstream theology school, rather it seeks to juxtapose relevant theological courses with concrete ministry oriented subjects within the shortest possible period.
Now with strong base in Ikeja,Lagos and Ado-Ekiti, DPBC has come of age. It turns out diploma graduates every six months and offers various courses of study from time to time which includes Diploma In Ministerial Studies and Theology, Post Graduate Diploma In Ministerial Studies and Theology, Certificate in Ministry, Bachelor Degree and Doctor Of Divinity
The founder’s vision of raising men and women who will become instruments in God’s vineyard has kept the school as a highly subsidized school of ministry.
AFFILIATION
DPBC is no longer affiliated with any local or foreign external school or secular regulatory body. Divine Power Bible College is a registered ministry that is totally independent and takes her authority from her divine mandate and fruits.
DPBC has helped many ministers in their path to ministry fulfilment and success. We have a strong desire to see believers equipped so that they can live victoriously and do the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:12 and 6:13-18). Our work has been one of training people how to start/direct/assist a Bible Believing Church and Colleges by providing resource materials, written and audio curriculum, and consultation.
We are equally open to those who intend to affiliate with us. Our policy is that
we do not provide financial support for our ministries/bible colleges but tutor
any body affiliated with us to become financially strong through divine wisdom,
members commitment, student tuition, and supernatural supply.
FACILITIES
DPBC physical campuses are located at Ado-Ekiti and Ikeja,Lagos
1. Accessibility
The school is located such that it is easily serviced through the local taxis.
2. Student Housing
DPBC does not own or provide dormitories or any other living quarters for students. Each student must therefore be responsible for finding his/her own living quarters. Assistance is available to fresh intake through the office of the Dean.
3. Food Service:
Eating establishment and fast food centers are located near the campus.
4. Library:
DPBC maintains a limited physical library but teaches its students how to access the world wide web and use its free resources.
5. Bookstore:
DPBC has a bookstore with limited stock but all the required manuals and textbooks for the school programs including CD and DVD may be purchased through the bookstore.
